Bernardus was designed by the American top architect Kyle Phillips. Every golf course that he designs is unique. A few well-known courses that he designed are Kingsbarns in St Andrews, Yas Links in Abu Dhabi, Re-fit from De Lage Vuursche and Rocco Forto in Sicily. His conviction is that a golf course must have its own character, with existing natural elements and the history of the place. At Bernardus you will find the feeling of the nearby Drunense Duinen. The natural vegetation has been preserved as well as possible and hundreds of trees and heather have been planted to make this course into an official Champion Course, with the highest quality fairways and greens. From day 1 there has been chosen a no chemical policy, in which a minimum of pesticides and fertilizers is used. Bernardus is open daily from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. They open at 10 am on Wednesday.

The Binnendieze consists of a number of streams that run through the inner city of Den Bosch. Above these streams, houses were built which means that you take a tour underneath buildings and roads. Through the many branches of the streams a maze of covered water ways arose through which you can take a magnificent tour.

The Loonse and Drunense Duinen encompass about 3500 hectare and consist of pine forests and drift sand areas, hence the term ‘dunes’. You can make beautiful bicycle tours and hikes through heaths and pine forests in this vast nature area. You’ll see various frogs and salamanders, among others, and with a bit of luck you could encounter a badger.

The Sint-Jan in s-Hertogenbosch is one of the most beautiful monuments in our country. It is a ‘living’ monument because it’s not only Dutch heritage. The cathedral has a prominent place in people’s hearts. As a Parish church but also as a beacon in difficult times. Daily, many people walk in out, demonstrated by the hundreds of candles burning in the Maria chapel. It’s unthinkable that our children and grandchildren wouldn’t be able to enjoy this anymore.
