Hotel San Lino is a 4 star hotel located in Volterra. It is a renovated 15th century convent rich in charm and fascinating history. It is the ideal place for all who wish to experience the tranquility of an age gone by or for those who wish to discover the architectural and natural beauty of one of the most ancient cities in Italy. The hotel offers two different standards of accommodation: standard rooms and superior rooms. Refined and elegant, the rooms have been furnished with care and attention being paid to the smallest detail: cherry wood furniture, wall to wall carpet & curtain drapes. The Restaurant "Le Monache" - consisting of three halls decorated in a simple but welcoming style, welcomes groups of friends – both locals and visitors – who want to organize group lunches or dinners.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
