Tenuta la Baronessa is located in Lecce, Italy. The 4 Star Hotel, with the recent renovation, has changed its “look”, enriched with decorations of stones from Lecce, that give a more refined touch to the property. Not to mention the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner with traditional dishes and flavors of Salento, in the Sala del Camino, our intimate and friendly restaurant. And end with the possibility of a bitter drink, a digestive or a simple herbal tea under the porch enjoying a wonderful view of the park, waited on hand and foot by our well stocked Wine Bar. It offers an high-level creative cuisine without renouncing to the genuineness of the small details, through the professionality of the Chef and his brigade. For us, Receptions have a meaning combined by art and hospitality, to guarantee the success of every Event of yours: a Marriage, a Baptism, a Confirmation, a Birthday, a Graduation or just a special occasion.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
