Movenpick Hotel Frankfurt City is a modern, comfortable first-class hotel next to the Frankfurt trade fairground. It provides an ideal base for business travelers or for visitors wishing to explore the city’s artistic and cultural scene. It offers 288 contemporary and well-equipped rooms spread over 7 floors. Our rooms are divided into 242 Standard Rooms, 26 Comfort Rooms, 15 Superior Rooms and 5 Junior Suites. The hotel has 8 rooms suitable for visitors with allergy sensitivities and 2 rooms with wheelchair access. The Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City offers 12 business and conference rooms for up to 350 persons. The largest banquet room can be divided into two parts. Seven rooms of between 30 and 205 square metres are located on the ground floor, while there are five rooms of 29 to 59 square metres on the seventh floor with a view over the fair ground Frankfurt and the Taunus. Arrival by CAR from the WEST
Enter “Den Haager Straße 5” in the GPS and follow the signs Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City and the shopping center “Skyline Plaza”.
1. Highway A5, exit Westkreuz Frankfurt towards city center. Follow the signs towards the city center (drive towards the trade fair tower with its pyramid-shaped top)
2. After the trade fair tower and the Frankfurter „Festhalle”, turn right to “Platz der Einheit”.
3. After 150 m turn right at the traffic lights. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit. The hotel is on the right side of the street after the roundabout.
Arrival by CAR from FRANKFURT CITY and SOUTH
Enter “Den Haager Straße 5” in the GPS and follow the signs Mövenpick Hotel Frankfurt City and the shopping center “Skyline Plaza”.
1. Follow the signs for the trade fair (Messe Frankfurt) to „Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage“.
2. At the roundabout at „Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage“, turn towards the city center/main station (Hauptbahnhof).
3. After the trade fair tower and the Frankfurter „Festhalle”, turn right to “Platz der Einheit”.
4. After 150 m turn right at the traffic lights. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit. The hotel is on the right side of the street after the roundabout.
Access by PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Arrival by TRAIN
Frankfurt can be easily reached by public transport. Almost all trains, from regional trains to ICE,
go to Frankfurt main station. From here it's just a short hop to the hotel.
S-BAHN, SUBWAY or TRAM
Hotel guests should get off at Frankfurt am Main main station and take the subway U4 towards „Bockenheimer Warte” or take tram line 16 towards „Ginnheim“. Exit at the station „Festhalle/Messe“. The hotel is located directly behind the „Festhalle“. It is a 3 minute walk from there.
Please do not take the S-Bahn to the station “Messe” - the walk to the hotel is further.
WALKING FROM MAIN STATION
Leave the main station building via the north exit. From there, keep straight on via „Düsseldorfer Straße“, pass straight on “Platz der Republik“ and further straight to “Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage“ in direction to the exhibition center (Messe Frankfurt). Directly in front of the trade fair tower (with its pyramid-shaped top) and the Frankfurter „Festhalle“, turn left into „Platz der Einheit”. After 150 m turn right at the traffic lights. The hotel is straight ahead, directly at the roundabout.
The walk takes about 10 minutes.
