From the elegant lobby to the magnificently, recently renovated rooms, our hotel is in the heart of elegance and fun in the city of Florence. We have 87 rooms and 10 duplex suites ensuring that you’ll always find the perfect room near the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Our rooms are uniquely spacious and comfortable, and most of them offer spectacular views of Florence. Over the years, a wide variety of people have made the Plaza Hotel Lucchesi their home away from home, including Francois Mitterand (former President of France), Marcello Mastroianni (the wonderful Italian actor) and Domenico Modugno (popular singer). Thanks to our commitment to our guests, our attention to detail and the friendliness of our whole staff, our hotel continues to be the permanent choice for those seeking a stylish, centrally located hotel in the heart of the city. Our hotel also organizes events, functions, meetings and other parties. We have 2 rooms that can be hired for such parties accommodating up to 130 guests comfortably. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
