InterContinental Yokohama Grand zweeft boven het getransformeerde stadscentrum uit als een strak jacht onder zeil. Attracties zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken, waaronder Yokohama Cosmo World, vijf winkelcentra, het Yokohama Museum of Art, het historische Red Brick Warehouse en Yamashita Park. De rit waard zijn Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise en de Yokohama Zoo. Er zijn 14 vergaderzalen die plaats bieden aan max. 760 in theaterstijl, 460 klaslokalen, 700 recepties en 430 in banketstijl.
