The hotel is within walking distance of the magnificent golden Shwedagon Pagoda the most sacred and oldest Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar and Bogyoke Aung San Market which is a major bazaar known for its colonial architecture and inner cobblestone streets, the market is a major tourist destination, dominated by antique, Burmese handicraft and jewelry shops, art galleries, and clothing stores.
