The Hotel Restaurant Benito al Bosco is situated in a suggestive spot just 40 km from Rome and at about 600 m altitude, on the slopes of Artemisio Mountain, where the air has been defined by prominent German scientists as the best in Europe, amidst the greenery of a chestnut wood with pine forest, in one of the most characteristic and enchanting corners of Velletri. Our hotel in the zone of the Roman Castles has 60 spacious, bright rooms, equipped with all comforts to offer its guests a faultless service. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
