Gius La Residenza located near to the historic village of Kaltern offers stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and Lake Kalterer, which is South Tyrol’s warmest lake. The hotel is an ideal base for those who would like to sample fine food and good wine on the South Tyrol Weinstrasse. It is also great for outdoor activities such as Nordic Walking, Mountain Biking, Sailing, Surfing and Golfing. Our 9 exclusive Studio Suites from 70sq m to 150sq m, all have a private garden or terrace and are furnished with high quality designer furniture. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
