The Ville Bianchi and Grado, “the golden island between Venice and Triest” links common tradition as the pioneers of the summer-resort as well as the royal summer residence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The historical town centre paints a colorful picture of days gone by. The villas - carefully restored - merge historically rich elegance with modern day 4-star-comfort. The well-maintained sand beaches, along 20 km of coastal strip, the colorful cabanas and the lively boardwalk are as popular today, for beach holiday-makers and aficionados of Mediterranean vacation atmosphere, as they were 100 years ago. All 7 villas are equipped with elevators. The rooms differ from conventional hotel rooms by the height of the rooms in the old building and the tasteful furnishings.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
