The oldest Steam Engine known as Ol' Sadie was built in 1890 in New Jersey, Ol' Sadie ran from November 1921 until May 1954. The Union Pacific donated the engine to the City. Surrounding the engine you can see a folk art fence constructed by hand by Floyd Young Sr. who was the last engineer to drive Ol' Sadie.

Big Boy Steam Engine

"Big Boy" the World's largest steam locomotive no. 4004 built in 1941, designed to be used specially for the Union Pacific railroad to travel from Cheyenne to Ogden, Utah. The Big Boy now retired is one of the last eight remaining on display. Cheyenne's Big Boy resides in Holliday Park all year around.

Historic Governors Mansion

From 1905 to 1976 the mansion was home to many first families including the nations First Female Governor, Nellie Tayloe Ross. July 1977the mansion was opened to the public as a historic house museum becoming to the residents of Wyoming the "People's house."
