With a mix of formal and casual multipurpose spaces that transcend the traditional meeting space at an unbeatable location. Splendor is practically The Louis V. Gerstner Jr. Center for Learning, middle name, and its recently debuted Forum, ups the ante. “It's a showstopper,” enthuses General Manager, TJ Fimmano, of the Forum’s top-of-the-line design and technology which extends throughout the entire conference center. The new design offers meeting attendees the opportunity to collaborate and foster a deeper connection with a mix of pod seating, mini meeting spots, and traditional open, warm, and stylish space that welcomes attendees to a social and learning experience. Collectively, the GCL offers 16,800 square feet of dedicated IACC Certified meeting space and over 20,000 square feet of recreational space with a fitness center, indoor basketball court, four outdoor tennis courts, and 182 comfortably appointed queen deluxe guest rooms, offering a haven of relaxation and productivity with scenic views. The Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Center for Learning offers fourteen (14) meeting rooms and twenty-two (22) breakout rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows. Every meeting room offers State-of-the-Art equipment with dedicated professional tech support staff, teleconference, and web conferencing capabilities. We offer full sound systems for video and audio playback and all our meeting rooms are equipped with system web conferencing platforms that include Webex, Zoom, BlueJeans, and Microsoft Teams. AV equipment includes, 4K HDMI LED Flat panel projection displays, wireless page advancer remote, wireless handheld microphones, and standard wall, whiteboards which are portable. All meeting room technology is at your fingertips, centralized at a single panel, or can be operated by our Crestron control system individually. All Mac users have wireless connectivity through airplay with Apple TV. All our breakout rooms offer plug-and-play HDMI connectivity together with Web conferencing capabilities, and everyone is given complimentary secured High-Speed Wi-Fi.

Located in New York City’s founding neighborhood, Pier 17 is drenched in history. A stone’s throw from the Financial District and The World Trade Center, the area has more recently been synonymous with Wall Street workers and tourists visiting the 9/11 Memorial. But this summer changes all that with the re-launch of Pier 17 at the Seaport District NYC. Home to the Seaport Museum and the city’s largest concentration of restored maritime buildings, Pier 17 is being reclaimed for New Yorkers via dynamic food, drink, art, architecture, retail, and entertainment concepts that foster community and engage the city’s denizens, year-round. Pier 17 and the surrounding Seaport District comes out of its tourist trap shadows as its new tenants incorporate the neighborhood’s rich past, while embracing its future as a port of discovery. For history buffs, Pier 17 is one of the most interesting places in NYC. The economic growth of New York in the first half of the 19th century was driven by the Port of New York’s position as an import–export exchange and cargo center for emerging American and global markets. The Seaport and Pier 17 became a gateway for international shipping, maritime activities and the wholesale fish trade. South Street was known as the “Street of Ships” and the Wavertree, which is docked alongside Pier 17 to this day, arrived in New York City in 1895 en route to Calcutta with jute cargo aboard. The ship was acquired by the South Street Seaport Museum in 1968 and went through a 16-month, $13 million restoration. “These are the kinds of ships that built New York,” says Jonathan Boulware, executive director of the South Street Seaport Museum. A hub of commercial virtue (the finance, sea trade and printing press businesses were all located in this dense port) and accompanying vice (the area is home to some of the city’s oldest drinking dens, which played host to all manner of illicit activities back in the day), the Seaport was the first 24-hour district in New York, hence the phrase “the city that never sleeps”.

The IBM Learning Center now renamed the Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. Center for Learning is prohibited from accepting social business such as weddings, baptisms, or bar mitzvahs under our operational license with the hamlet of Armonk and town of North Castle. The GCL is closed for overnight Business Travelers Friday & Saturday nights and no pets are allowed except for service dogs.

Except in the case of cancellation by Force Majeure as described in the agreement: should group cancel 0 to 90 days prior to arrival, liquidated damages in the amount of ninety percent of the "Anticipated Package Revenue Figure" will be due, plus applicable taxes. We also have the best "Covid Forced Majeure" clause ever written, so call me for details.
