About us
Located in the capital of Germany and being Europe’s largest hotel, congress & entertainment center the Estrel Hotel & Congress Center Berlin has the capacities and resources to host a broad variety of different first class events. From large industry fairs to intimate workshops, one of the 85 meeting rooms of the Estrel Congress Center will clearly match your client’s expectations. Referring back to the ‘all under one roof’ concept guests will be entertained during the ‘Stars in Concert’ live show and accommodated in the adjacent hotel. The 1,125 comfortable rooms and suites illustrate a home away from home. Also located in the Estrel complex are a total of four restaurants, three bars, a summer garden with its own landing pier and a modern wellness & fitness area - there is something to cater for every taste and preference.

The Estrel Hotel & Congress Center Berlin’s convenient location and ideal transportation connections mean that we are easy to reach both by car and when using public transport.Highway access is only 1.5 kilometres away, and the distance to the Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is13km. The Sonnenallee S-Bahn commuter train station can be reached on foot in only three minutes, and a bus stop and taxi rank are located right in front of the hotel.

Britz Palace

The Britz Castle is also referred to as the ‘pearl of the district’ and got its shape around 1880 from its former owner. The facade was refurbished in a neo-renaissance style and a tower was added at the same time. The park behind the property was reconstructed in the style of the turn of the centuries.
Today a museum can be found within the castle. In different rooms one can find a permanent exhibition on the subject of interior design during the German ‘Gründerzeit’. Additionally, there are different special exhibits, as well as concerts and readings of different artists organized frequently on an open-air stage. One can also find an elegant hotel as well as a great restaurant on the compound. The sun terrace invites guests to linger and enjoy a varied menu.

Rooftop Bar “Klunkerkranich”

Bruno Taut, Martin Wagner and Walter Gropius were among the leading architects of these projects which exercised considerable influence on the development of housing around the world.

Tempelhof Field

Located on the grounds of the former Tempelhof airport, Tempelhof Field is larger than New York's Central Park with over 300 hectares for bike riding, skating, kite flying, urban gardening, strolling or just doing your own thing. Tempelhof played a key role after World War II during the Berlin blockade, when supply planes landed at the site in 90-second intervals. You can read about this and other notable events in the airport's history on various plaques on the field.

Located at the foot of a prominent national monument, there is an artificial waterfall which rushes down to the foot of the mountain at the confluence of Großbeerenstraße and Kreuzbergstraße. In Berlin vernacular, the park is usually referred to as being Kreuzberg. The history of the Viktoriapark began in 1821. On the elevated grounds of what had previously been called "Tempelhof Berg" or "Runder Weinberg,” Karl Friedrich Schinkel built a national monument commemorating the battles of the War of Liberation. At the foot of this monument, a simple park was created.
