About us
Rufford Old Hall is located at Rufford, Ormskirk, Lancashire, England. It was home to the Heskeths for 500 years and its great hall was once the stage for a young William Shakespeare before he was famous. Fantastic furniture, arms, armour and tapestries sweep through the hall, and history springs in to life in the Hesketh's dining room, its food-laden table, lit candles and 'fire in the hearth' waiting to welcome the family's dinner guests. It provides space for meetings and events.

Some of her first experiences with the city’s culinary adventures were fresh dumplings and homemade mozzarella — foods included on the signature tour today.
