About us

Palazzo Loup Spa is an 18th century dwelling placed in Loiano, 30 km far from Bologna city center and 70 km far from Florence in the heart of Tosco-Emilian Apennine hills. This historical villa, once belonged to the noble Loup family, it was restored in 1990 and it is nestled within an ancient parkland of 100,000 square meters. Palazzo Loup was the setting of important historical events and today it has 49 hotel bedrooms with modern facilities, 8 different equipped congress rooms and a charming restaurant with banqueting halls, everything is surrounded by unspoilt natural beauty. During summertime, guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool and its sun terrace with a panoramic view. Our park it is the ideal setting for outdoor team-building and all sort of leisure activities. We are at your disposal to organize incentive programs such us: cooking courses, strolls along the hills with historic cars, golf, horse riding, wine and food tasting, visit to astronomical observatory, museums and regionals parks and more.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
