About us
Koonara is the name of the Reschke family property in Coonawarra. It was originally situated 8km away on our other property here in Coonawarra, but in 1942, the house was literally sawn in three parts, brought over to the heart of Coonawarra, with a team of horses, and put back together. With 4 bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 double bed and 2 single beds in 2 rooms), Koonara Cottage sleeps 8 people comfortably.
