The 2,650m2 conference and meeting space of Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait includes 12 meeting rooms accommodating up to 1,000 persons at a time. Blending tradition and new modern design, the meeting venues of Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait include Al Hashemi II Conference Center, the traditional wooden dhow, three meeting rooms and one ballroom located in the hotel lobby. With the help of a dedicated and professional team with the “Yes, I Can!SM” attitude, our unique event spaces can turn your event into something truly special. The Experience Meetings concept promises a holistic approach to event planning. Off-site catering options designed by Radisson Blu's Chefs are available. Resplendent with exceptional design features, this Kuwait accommodation offers 190 rooms and suites, complete with convenient amenities. Amenities include Free high-speed, wireless Internet. Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre is one of the world’s largest cultural complexes housing a total of 22 galleries with over 1,100 exhibits. The complex offers a Natural History Museum, Science and Technology Museum, a Fine Arts Centre, Arabic Islamic Science Museum, Space Museum, and Theatre. The development of Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre involved coordination between 96 sub-contractors from 13 countries around the world – a truly international collaboration. The Centre’s facilities are gathered around a beautifully landscaped courtyard that plays host to festivals and community events and provides space for outdoor exhibits, as well as a variety of cafés and restaurants. The theatre and special exhibition spaces host an ongoing series of quality programmes covering a variety of topics and themes related to the arts and sciences. The Fine Arts Centre will host an Artist-in-Residence (AiR) programme which will support the development of local artistic talent, in turn, allowing their work to be accessible to an international audience.

Kuwait Towers

One of Kuwait’s most iconic monuments are its three towers in the heart of the city. These three structures are not just awesome pieces of architecture to spice up your photos, they are a symbol for the country’s economic progression and pride. An architectural feat Designed by Swedish architects Sune Lindström and Malene Björn, the towers have become the monument people associate with the city, plastering them on postcards and in guidebooks. They are beautiful and sleek, coated with 55,000 steel paints in eight different colors ranging from gold to turquoise blue. If you would like to visit the towers, then make your first stop the observation desk dubbed the ‘Viewing Sphere’ in the main tower. It stands at 123 meters above sea level and gives incredible 360⁰ views of the city and beyond. The platform here revolves around and has telescopes for you to zoom into interesting sites from above. The middle tower is in fact used as a reservoir, holding up to one million gallons of water. The last tower without a sphere, is an electricity tower used to illuminate the others and the surrounding grounds. Together all three make for a wonderful site both from the ground and from the Viewing Sphere. Grab a bite to eat in the sky In the main tower, you can find a few great places for a coffee and a snack or a fancy meal. Try out international foods at Ofak Restaurant, enjoy panoramic views from Le café and the Royal Café or grab a quick snack at Al Waha lounging area. There is also a small cafeteria on the grounds at the base of the towers, where you can sit out in the sun and enjoy the view.

The house was originally a mud building during the early 20th century. But, it was destroyed during the 1936 Kuwaiti floods.
