It holds the largest collection of international espionage artifacts on public display. Under Julie’s leadership, the valued roles of her skilled team lay the foundation for adapting to her client’s corporate culture. This in turn with the intention to deliver a fun and engaging experience.
Julie is a BCIT graduate and has been an active player in the hospitality industry since she was twenty-two. In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico.
In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.

Our waste management splits into 16 categories, from Food Waste, Coffee Grounds, Batteries, Lightbulbs, Textiles & more. Today we average an 80% waste diversion rate (or call it recycling rate), reaping both Environmental & Financial benefits.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
As of 2024 our hotel operations are fully free of Single Use Plastics, from all bathroom amenities, minibar, bottled water, spa products, F&B, banqueting etc. We are working with suppliers to reduce plastic packaging where hygiene permits, and organising take-back programs on HDPE plastic containers.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Our operational footprint derives principally from two energies (Electricity & Heating) Electricity - Onsite generation: 137 south-facing solar panels - Offsite generation: Sourcing uniquely Swiss renewable energy Heating: - Onsite generation: Carbon neutral waste wood pellet heating system, with heat recuperation from kitchen, spa, & technical spaces Combined, our Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions are kept at extremely low levels.
