About us

Hotel Des Geneys Splendid is the ideal place to stay for recreation or business, located in the heart of Bardonecchia, part of the XXth Winter Olympic Games of Turin. The hotel lies in a private parkland close by shops, restaurants and entertainment and only a stone throw away from the ski slopes. The hotel offers 52 guest rooms and junior suites. Each one of the hotel rooms provides the utmost in modern comfort with traditional touches that in some cases include polished wooden walls and cosy furnishings. Perfect for any occasion — from Bardonecchia mountain holidays to special events and business conferences, the Hotel des Geneys has the flexibility and ambience to ensure a superb getaway experience. It has 3 meeting rooms available & also organizes receptions & banquets.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
