About us

Hotel La Tonnara is a modern 4 star hotel in Amantea. Located on the Tyrrhenian stretch of coast near Cosenza, just thirty meters from the sea and three kilometers from the beautiful and lively town of Amantea (Cosenza), Hotel La Tonnara enjoys a perfect position. It has 59 comfortable and modernly-furnished rooms, mostly with sea view and fully-equipped panoramic terrace. The hotel restaurant offers typical Italian dishes, fish specialties and seasonal food products. The hotel also hosts meetings and events and has established itself as a banqueting venue. In addition, Hotel la Tonnara has a fully-equipped congress room with 200 places and some small meeting rooms, which makes it a perfect location for a whole range of events.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
