The Starhotels Du Parc is an elegant hotel with refined Art Nouveau interiors. Located in the centre of Parma, it welcomes guests in its 169 spacious rooms and suites, provided with every comfort and enriched by refined decorative details. The famous Canova restaurant serves both traditional and international dishes, while the bar is the ideal place to enjoy a delicious coffee, a light lunch or an aperitif.The 9 meeting rooms can host up to 550 people and are equipped with modern conference technology, providing all the space and services required for successful business and private events. The Starhotels Du Parc is located in the heart of Parma, within easy reach of the station and only 4 kilometres from the Exhibition Centre. A small bridge links it to the magnificent Parco Ducale and the historic centre, main cultural attractions and finest shops are only a short walk away.

Set on a high perch overlooking the Parma valley, Torrechiara is one of the best preserved fortifications in whole the region. It was built between 1448 and 1460 by Pier Maria Rossi, who had it girded with a triple wall and four corner towers linked by battlemented parapets. Two loggias on the east side were added later. Inside, a fine square bailey abut on arcades and windows trimmed with elaborate Lombard style terracotta moldings.
