Few major cities around the world are in the lucky position of being able to offer both an exhibition complex and a convention center right in their downtown area. Hamburg is one of them. Linked by “Planten un Blomen” park, the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg and the exhibition halls form a unique event campus in the heart of the city. The Hamburg Messe und Congress campus is the city’s largest site for events. State-of-the-art, multifunctional and highly flexible: Our extensively rebuilt and modernized CCH – Congress Center Hamburg offers you unlimited options to make your events a full success. From concerts and galas to major national and international conventions, through to corporate events of any kind: At the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg you can rent spaces that are custom-tailored to your specific needs, offering space of 500 attendees or more. Our experienced event management team will work closely with you, giving you all the individual attention and providing the comprehensive services you need. With a total surface area of 36,000 square meters, our spaces can be custom-arranged for any event. The number 12,000 has a very special meaning at the CCH: the event area covers 12,000 square meters, the foyer area is also 12,000 square meters, and a total of 12,000 visitors can be at the CCH at any time. Across four levels and three event sections – West, Central and East –, the complex boasts up to 50 multifunctional halls for conventions and events of all kinds. The three sections are accessible via separate entrances and exits. Flexibility³ at its best! Sustainability has been at the heart of the extensive remodeling work. The CCH – Congress Center Hamburg is in fact the first, and so far, the only existing German convention center to receive gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). The entire building is also barrier-free.
