Welcome to SCALA, Ghent’s newest meeting and events center, located at the heart of the Akkerhage Center: A thriving business and hospitality hub just off the E17 and E40 highways, and conveniently outside the city’s Low Emission Zone (LEZ). With extensive on-site parking including underground spaces, surface-level spots, EV charging stations, and dedicated bus parking, SCALA is exceptionally easy to reach for both local and international guests. SCALA is surrounded by three modern hotels: Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent, and the soon-to-open Courtyard by Marriott Ghent, offering over 400 rooms within walking distance. This makes multi-day conferences, corporate retreats, and residential meetings effortless to organize, with accommodation, meetings, and dining all in one connected location. Fundamentally, the Event Organizer may not bring food & beverages to the event. In special cases, a written agreement can be reached permitting such an arrangement: in such cases; the Hotel charges a service fee or a corkage fee, respectively.

Avbeställningspolicy

Cancellation policy for groups • Free cancellation by the Event Organizer up to 90 days before the first arrival date. • 30% reduction can be made without charge by 60 days before arrival. • 20% reduction can be made without charge by 30 days before arrival. • 10% reduction can be made without charge by 15 days before arrival. Any later rooms cancelation will result in a penalty of 100 % of the contracted rooms.
