Sledmere House is located in Driffield, England. Sledmere House provides a wonderful venue for weddings, conferences and many other special occasions. We take pride in offering a custom made package to meet your own special requirements. The House and Grounds are not normally open to visitors on Saturdays allowing wedding and other parties to enjoy exclusive use. We are licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in three of the principal state rooms; The Library, Main Hall and Drawing Room. Full of history and charm, Sledmere House provides a perfect setting and backdrop for any wedding photo album. Experienced staff will guide and assist you throughout your day and the Events Co-coordinator will work alongside you throughout the whole process, from your initial enquiry right through to the finer details of your wedding day.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout. The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. Drinks can be enjoyed on the Terrace before moving into the Dining Room to be seated for your meal.
