Hotel Villa Casalta is located in an old village in the heart of Chianti, carefully restored and surrounded by the fantastic Tuscan countryside. Far just 2 km from Castellina in Chianti, a little medieval castle between Siena and Florence, Villa Casalta reflects the style of the ancient farmhouses. It offers 18 rooms and one apartment for accommodation. Villa casalta is in an attractive position, isolated from urban landscape and suitable to organize events and accommodate about 150 guests. Particularly appreciated for ceremonies, this relais is the perfect place for weddings, thanks to the pretty church, in which is possible to celebrate the wedding ceremony. Various well equipped meeting rooms are available to host meetings and events.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
