Pekings nationalstadion, officiellt Nationalstadion, även känd som Fågelboet (巢 Niǎocháo), är en arena i Peking, Kina. Arenan designades för användning under sommar-OS 2008 och Paralympics. Stadion ligger i Olympic Green och kostade 423 miljoner dollar. Designen tilldelades ett bidrag från den schweiziska arkitektbyrån Herzog & de Meuron i april 2003 efter en anbudsprocess som inkluderade 13 slutliga bidrag. Designen, som härstammar från studien av kinesisk keramik, implementerade stålbalkar för att dölja stöd för det infällbara taket; vilket ger arenan utseendet på ett fågelbo. Den ledande kinesiska konstnären Ai Weiwei var konstnärlig konsult på projektet. Det infällbara taket togs senare bort från designen efter att ha inspirerat stadionens mest igenkännliga aspekt.Marken bröts den 24 december 2003 och arenan öppnades officiellt den 28 juni 2008. 798 Art Zone (kinesiska: 798 区; pinyin: 798 Yìshùqū), eller Dashanzi Art District, är en del av Dashanzi i Chaoyang-distriktet i Peking som rymmer ett blomstrande konstnärligt samhälle, bland 50 år gamla avvecklade militära fabriksbyggnader med unik arkitektonisk stil. Det jämförs ofta med New Yorks Greenwich Village eller SoHo. Området kallas ofta för 798 Art District eller Factory 798 men tekniskt sett är Factory #798 bara en av flera strukturer inom ett komplex som tidigare kallades Joint Factory 718.
