Centara Hotel Hat Yai: Hat Yai, known as Gateway to the South, is home to this distinctive hotel. The city’s proximity to the Malaysian border has made it an important trading post through the years. In many cases, it offers a wide range of goods unavailable elsewhere in Thailand. Guests who wish to go shopping need look no further as Thailand’s leading Central Department Store is right on the premises. Nearby is the Santisuk Market renowned for its wide variety of electrical goods as well as street stalls selling an abundance of fruits and other products at attractive prices! Centara Hotel Hat Yai is also a local landmark and a preferred venue for corporate events in addition to offering comfortable accommodation for leisure and business travelers as it is located 20 minutes from Hat Yai International Airport. Centara Hotel Hat Yai’s central location and unrivalled reputation in the city for catering has made the hotel a premier venue for conferences, meetings, receptions and private parties. The Sukhontha Hall accommodates up to 200 people for dining and 450 for a reception, and can be divided into three smaller meeting rooms. There are 248 guestrooms and suites in the 18-storey property, each with satellite television, in-house movies, personal safe and mini-bar.

Considered as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the south, Namtok Ton Nga Chang [Elephant’s tusks waterfall] is located in the Ton Nga Chang Wildlife Sanctuary, just 30 kilometers away from the city. From all seven levels of the waterfalls, the best part located on its third levels where the stream is separated into two akin to the elephant’s tusks which gives name to the waterfall. Treks also provided for more adventurous experience. By driving, follows the Hat Yai – Rattaphum Road for 13 kilometres then turn left at Ban Hu Rae for another 13 kilometres.
