The 16th century building now the Mediterranean Conference Centre has long been one of Valletta’s most remarkable landmarks. The Mediterranean Conference Centre is one of Europe’s largest conference centres within a historical setting.

The Manoel Theatre (Maltese: It-Teatru Manoel; Italian: Teatro Manoel) is a theatre and important performing arts venue in Malta. The theatre is often referred to as simply "The Manoel", and is named after Grand Master of the Order of the Knights Hospitaller, Fra António Manoel de Vilhena, who ordered its construction in 1731. The theatre is reputed to be Europe's third-oldest working theatre (older than the San Carlo in Naples), and the oldest theatre still in operation in the Commonwealth of Nations. The theatre is located on Old Theatre Street (Maltese: Triq it-Teatru l-Antik) in Valletta. It considers itself as the country's national theatre and the home of Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (Maltese: Orkestra Filarmonika Nazzjonali). Originally called the Teatro Pubblico, its name was changed to Teatro Reale, or Theatre Royal, in 1812, and renamed Manoel Theatre in 1866. The first play to be performed was Maffei's Merope. The theatre is a small, 623 seat venue, with an oval-shaped auditorium, three tiers of boxes constructed entirely of wood, decorated with gold leaf, and a pale blue trompe-l'oeil ceiling that resembles a round cupola. The building is a Grade 1 listed building as noted by Malta's Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, and is also scheduled by the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA).

The Royal Malta Golf Club is the ideal setting for relaxing, working on your handicap, or spending time with friends. Positioned in beautifully maintained grounds and being centrally located in the Mediterranean it enjoys a wonderful climate providing excellent golfing conditions. The RMGC was founded in 1888 when golf was played around the moats and bastions formed by the fortification walls of the Capitol City Valletta. It moved to its present location in 1904, and is now situated in the grounds of the Marsa Sports Club and boasts of being one of only 63 Royal Golf Clubs. Due to the temperate climate the18 hole, par 68 course is in excellent condition for all twelve months of the year and is enjoyed on a regular daily basis by locals and visitors. The visitors often return when inclement weather conditions in their own country prevent the opportunity to play. Although only a par 68 it is a challenging course for the experienced player but not over daunting to the novice. As with all golf clubs there are rules relating to dress code and course etiquette and these can be found on the club website. If you just wish just to spend a short time practicing your skills you can make use of the clubs driving range and the pitching and putting areas. The very modern clubhouse which is available to members and guests offers exceptional facilities, including an outdoor terrace overlooking the course, the Putters Inn Bar and Restaurant and in addition golfers have the use of excellent changing room facilities and showers. The Pro shop located in the entrance hall offers a wide range of golfing merchandise and the opportunity to hire clubs and trolleys if required.
