Don’t miss the opportunity to taste the Vialone Nano variety of rice used to cook delicious risotto, or the typical radicchio (red chicory), the salamis (the typical Soppressa), the cheeses and dairy products of Lessinia, Lake Garda’s fish, the extra-virgin olive-oil, and well-renown vegetables such as the white asparagus.
And of course, the wine. Verona is top of the list of D.O.C. wine producing districts in Veneto Region: out of twenty-two D.O.C. wine produced in the Veneto, ten are produced on the hills of Verona.
The vineyards have been sitting for centuries on the of hills rolling gently from Lake Garda all the way to Val d'Alpone: through the millennia, wine producers acquired the elegance of taste and skilful expertise that give the wines of Verona their special graceful appeal.
Wines such as Valpolicella, Recioto, Amarone, Soave, Custoza, Lugana and Bardolino have contributed to make Verona known all over the world.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
