The hotel is 25 miles from BWI, 10 miles north of Baltimore city and 8 miles south of Hunt Valley. Owings Mills is directly to the west and White Marsh is directly to the east of Towson.

A revamped crosswalk connects the Hotel to premiere shopping and the food court at Towson Town Center. Fast food to fine dining is directly across the street and within walking distance. Area attractions include Towson Square and Cinemax, historic sites, hiking & biking trails, vineyards and premiere golf courses. Rain 903 is a full service restaurant serving american cuisine and local flavors for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A two story wall of windows overlooks the beautifully landscaped courtyard and koi pond. Ample green space surrounds the Hotel, which is adjacent to Goucher College and 1 mile north of Towson University. Ample covered parking is available in the Dulaney Center garage attached to the Hotel.
