The Royal Oak is a stunning country pub with rooms full of character nestled in the picturesque and historic village of Yattendon, on the Yattendon Estate in Berkshire. The Royal Oak is within easy reach of the M4 – perfect spot for shooting or fishing parties to unwind. It is also ideal for an overnight stay if you’re on a business trip or visiting to the West Country or a pub lunch or dinner before or after a day at the races - The Royal Oak being only 10 minutes from Newbury Racecourse. We offer three private dining rooms which can cater for all day business meetings or private events for up to 60 people. Simple, unfussy, Michelin rated food, ten luxurious bedrooms, award winning real ales, roaring log fires and a quite beautiful walled beer garden await, all within easy access of Newbury, Reading, Heathrow and the M4.
