The Obelisco de Buenos Aires is a national historic monument and icon of Buenos Aires. Located in the Plaza de la República, in the intersection of avenues Corrientes and 9 de Julio, it was built to commemorate the fourth centenary of the first foundation of the city.
In order to enrich the surroundings of the iconic monument, the government of the city started the project Punto Obelisco, creating a zone full of LED signs. Since the Obelisk of the city is always associated with the night and entertainment of Buenos Aires, this project creates a zone similar to Times Square in New York and Piccadilly Circus in London.

Headquarters of the Catholic Church in Argentina, the Metropolitan Cathedral is a National Historic Landmark. The building we see today is the sixth structure erected on the site since the second founding of the city. In 1752, construction was begun on the current structure. Its neoclassical façade was added in 1822 and ornamentation in the front in 1860. In 1877, an aisle that houses the mausoleum of General José de San Martín (1778 – 1850) -liberator of Argentina, Chile and Perú- was added.

Designed by landscape architect Carlos Thays, the Botanical Gardens first opened in 1898. The Gardens occupy an area of over 7 hectares and are home to some 6.000 plant species, a botanic library, a herbarium and five greenhouses in different styles, the larger which is in the Art Nouveau style and was recognized at the World Expo Paris of 1900. In the fifties, a local resident, Arturo Carrega, decided to reclaim a piece of land along which a narrow stream ran and, later, the train. To do this, he summoned the famous painter Quinquela Martín, who named this little street “Caminito” after the popular tango of Peñaloza and Filiberto. Later, artists and bohemians came to live here, giving rise to this picturesque neighborhood, immortalized in the works of the artist Benito Quinquela Martín.

Under Julie’s leadership, the valued roles of her skilled team lay the foundation for adapting to her client’s corporate culture. This in turn with the intention to deliver a fun and engaging experience.
Julie is a BCIT graduate and has been an active player in the hospitality industry since she was twenty-two. In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico.
In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.
