Located in Rutledge Hill – just a few blocks south of Historic Broadway, in the heart of Downtown Nashville – Husk, from The Neighborhood Dining Group, is reinterpreting the bounty of the surrounding area, exploring an ingredient-driven cuisine that begins in the rediscovery of heirloom products and redefines what it means to cook and eat in Nashville. At Husk, there are some rules about what can go on the plate. If it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The resulting cuisine is not about rediscovering Southern cooking, but rather exploring the reality of Southern food. Seed-saving, heirloom husbandry, in-house pickling and charcuterie programs by Executive Chef Ben Norton and his culinary team are the basis of Husk’s cuisine. Husk Nashville, located at 37 Rutledge Street, was constructed into the side of a hill between 1879 and 1882 by Dr. John Bunyan Stephens. Its storied history includes serving as Mayor Richard Houston Dudley’s home, where he lived when elected in 1897. The area was settled by the Rutledge and Middleton families of Charleston who were descendants of two of the original South Carolina signers of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Dudley added the Carriage House located on property in 1890–which will serve as a space to satisfy the restaurant’s culinary whims and host private/special events. The design of the Husk’s interior spaces enhances the building’s roots while demonstrating a sense of Southern style, modernity, energy, and cosmopolitan flair.

Climb aboard our classic yacht and take in Seattle’s waterfront views of beautiful Lake Union and adjoining waterways. You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout. The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. The forward stateroom offers double twin-size beds in a v-berth layout. The Rainbird is centrally located, close to downtown Seattle, Lake Union, U of W, and Lake Washington.

After obtaining all the intricate knowledge and details of Charleston he decided to start his own business and share his passion of Charleston with the world. Nicholas is also a licensed tour guide as well as a member of the Preservation Society of Charleston and the Charleston Tour Association. Chicora (pronounced Cha Cor Ah) was a Native American Kingdom and tribe sought by many European explorers in present day South Carolina. The Chicora Tribes’ reach expanded from the Savannah River to the Cape Fear River. The word Chicora translates in English to “land of the healing breezes.” Charleston has the same effect on people. In 2007, best friends Jonathan Bricklin and Franck Raharinosy had a crazy idea—to practice ping pong night and day and get so good that they could make the USA Olympic Team. Bricklin and Raharinosy joined forces with retired investment banker and former tennis pro, Andrew Gordon, to launch SPIN’s flagship location on Park Avenue in New York City in the summer of 2009.
