The Little Rock Marriott allows clients to execute successful meetings by providing an abundance of meeting space under one room between the hotel space and the Statehouse Convention Center which is connected by an underground walkway. Ample overflow hotels nearby and the Robinson Performing Arts Center create a compact and convenient citywide package for groups needing almost 83,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space and 500-750 rooms on peak night. In combination, the downtown package provides over 300,000 sq. ft. of functional meeting/exhibit space and almost 1,500 hotel rooms within a ½ mile of the hotel and convention center.The meeting space availability and size of the hotel allows a more forgiving space to rooms ratio for clients. The hotel and downtown area are able to provide a very walkable experience, close to ample dining and entertainment in the River Market area. Local attractions like the William J. Clinton Presidential Center, the Museum of Discovery, Heifer International and numerous outdoor activities nearby provide a comfortable and manageable experience for attendees.Mid-sized groups are accommodated with ease and at 225 to 325 peak, can be the dominant program in the hotel. Numerous breakouts compliment the 10,657 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom.The hotel provides an Executive Meetings Manager program for smaller groups for a one-stop-shop service approach to help execute small, short-term meetings with ease and a high level of service and professionalism.

Located in the heart of Arkansas, Little Rock is easily accessible by plane or car. Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is Arkansas’s largest airport, serving nearly 2 million passengers each year. With seven airlines and over 50 arrivals and departures daily, the airport is home to 15 non-stop connections across the country and 15 minutes from downtown. Driving into the city? Both Interstate 40 and I-30 connect to the city, making it only five hours from Dallas, Nashville, St. Louis and Oklahoma City and eight hours from Atlanta and Houston. Little Rock is also easily accessible via Amtrak’s Texas Eagle service connecting Chicago, St. Louis and 38 other cities. Once your attendees are in the city, they can explore via the METRO Streetcar, a 3.4-mile transit system connecting both visitors and locals with area accommodations, attractions, restaurants, meeting spaces and more throughout the River Market District.

The Historic Arkansas Museum, sometimes called HAM, is a state history museum in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The museum was created as part of the Arkansas Territorial Capitol Restoration Commission, by Act 388 of the 1939 Arkansas General Assembly. The act named Louise Loughborough as chairwoman of the commission. Loughborough had been named to the Little Rock Planning Commission in 1935. Several houses near Cumberland and East 3rd Streets in downtown Little Rock were going to be condemned, including the Hinderliter House, the oldest building in Little Rock and the last capitol building of Arkansas before statehood. Loughborough started a public relations campaign around Little Rock as a "town of three Capitols": the Hinderliter House, the Old State House, and the current Arkansas State Capitol Building. Loughborough then gained support from the Works Progress Administration, the Arkansas General Assembly, and private donors. Loughborough worked with architect Max Mayer to restore the half-block of houses at Cumberland and East 3rd Street in downtown Little Rock. The Museum opened on July 19, 1941.

Through ASO education programs over 40,000 children each year experience the magic of music. Distinguished guest artists including Itzhak Perlman, Yo Yo Ma, Mignon Dunn, Marilyn Horn, Andre Watts, Maureen McGovern, Bernadette Peters, Maya Angelou, and Doc Severinsen, among others, have appeared in concert with the orchestra in Arkansas. Comprised of the state's most sought after professional musicians, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is heard by more than 165,000 Arkansans each year, and consistently plays to high critical praise.

Arkansas has a rich history, and its neo-classical style Capitol building is no exception. The Arkansas State Capitol was built between 1899 and 1915 on the site of the old state penitentiary. Prison labor was used to build it. Components of the Capitol came from all over the United States including a staircase from Alabama, marble from Vermont, and columns from Colorado. Some of the limestone for the exterior was quarried near Batesville. The front entrance doors are made of bronze and are 10 feet tall, four inches thick, and were purchased from Tiffany & Company in New York for $10,000.

Originally intended to be called Murray Bridge, the Big Dam Bridge in Arkansas spans the Arkansas River and Murray Lock and Dam between Little Rock and North Little Rock and is open only to pedestrian and bicycle traffic. At 4,226 feet in length it is the longest pedestrian/bicycle bridge in North America that has never been used by trains or motor vehicles. It rises to 90 feet over the Arkansas River and 30 feet over the dam. The span over the river is 3,463 feet, with the ramps on either side of the river accounting for the rest of the length. The southern end of the bridge is near Little Rock's Murray Park, while the northern end is at Cook's Landing Park in North Little Rock.
