A central, modern, popular and convenient venue for that overnight stay, a hearty meal and splendid breakfast. The Coachman boasts a great bar and friendly staff and altogether, a first rate inn. The Coachman hotel with its location in the ancient burgh of Kilsyth, is located at the footsteps of the majestic Campsie Hills. From the top of the Tak-ma-doon road, which leads you from Kilsyth up the Campsies, on a clear summers day you can see the forth rail bridge and further on into Edinburgh. Also located close to the ruins of a former Roman Imperial camp and the Antonine Wall, built and named after the Roman Emperor to defend against the warriors of the north who waged war against the empire. With the Coachman’s location you are also close to Stirlingshire where you can explore Stirling Castle or relax in the stunning countryside. For the person who loves to shop Glasgow is 20-25 minutes drive away.

Over the past fifteen (15) years, we’ve grown from one (1) Thriller vessel to the current operation of three (3) Thriller Vessels, and one (1) Thriller Miami Hurricane that were built for Miami’s character, charm, and local culture. Open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
