The Village at Lyons is located in Kildare, Ireland. It is a restored historic village on the banks of the Grand Canal, is one of Ireland’s most beautiful wedding venues. Just outside Dublin (20 Minutes drive from the M50 / Red Cow Roundabout), and with 14 luxurious bedroom suites the village is the perfect getaway. The Mill is a spectacular double height space with seating capacity for up to 180 guests. The room’s panelled walls are offset by a soft and relaxing palette of neutral shades, while the dramatic 17th century fireplace and soothing sounds of the waterfall add to the uniqueness of the room.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
