COMPLIMENTARY SERVICES FOR MEETING AND EVENT PLANNERS INCLUDING: • A lodging and meeting room availability survey • Site inspections of area and facilities • Creative suggestions for tours and social events • A customized group webpage • Photos for websites, conference program, and flyers • Attendance builder electronic postcard • Welcome packets • “Helping Hands” - Utilize our Visit Grand Junction volunteers to help stuff packets/registration bags and assist with registration • An information table at the event LOCATION/TRANSPORTATION: Located on the Western Slope of Colorado, 4 hours West of Denver and 4.5 hours east of Salt Lake City, just off Interstate 70. Rental cars and bus rentals are available, as well as access to train travel through Amtrak and direct flights at the Grand Junction Regional Airport (largest airport on the west side of the state) from Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, and Los Angeles (seasonal). GROUP ACTIVITIES: • Wine vineyard tours, tastings, dinners, and special events • Orchard, lavender, and alpaca farm tours • Team-building and volunteer programs • Colorado National Monument & Grand Mesa National Forest • Whitewater rafting, float trips, and jet boating • Golfing, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and rock climbing • Shopping, restaurants, museums, and art tours
