Hotel Le Dune is located in a charming atmosphere, in timeless surroundings, in the midst of uncontaminated sand dunes, against the drop of a deep blue sea, there appears a large grey stone building covered in golden plaster." Thus an Italian journalist described her arrival at Hotel Le Dune and her discovery of the sandy valley at Piscinas. The main building, the largest of the three and once a blende warehouse, consists of a hall built out of a schist tunnel which leads customers to the Reception Office open 24 hours a day, to the American Bar with its Lounge embellished by the big fireplace in Sardinian granite stone, to the TV Room and to the 15 double Superior Rooms, which can be made into triple or quadruple.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
