Welcome to the Mortimer Arms, a family run Country Inn ideally located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. Formally the Victorian home of a Dowager, it has been sympathetically extended and recently refurbished. We offer 15 rooms and events hosting facilities. We can cater for up to 80 guests for wedding breakfast and up to 120 in the evening. If you wish we can decorate the room in different themes, we’ve already done Winter Wonderland to Organic Chic and Romantic Floral. Just let us know what you would prefer. The Party venue can hold up to 120 people and we can offer buffet style hot or cold food along with an extended fully staffed licensed bar. The function room is easy converted into a business meeting venue.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
