Downtown is home to Atlanta’s walkable convention and entertainment district. In the heart of Downtown, Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) boasts the world’s largest LEED-certified convention center and hosts some of the country’s largest shows with more than 1 million square feet of contiguous exhibit space. The convention center campus also includes Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Centennial Olympic Park, the 22-acre greenspace that serves as Atlanta’s legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. The park is surrounded by world-class attractions that not only offer interactive experiences for guests, but also serve as dynamic event spaces. The city’s facilities don’t end there. Also downtown, Atlanta Convention Center at AmericasMart accommodates everything from small board meetings to large-scale events. An array of hotel properties provide more than 13,000 hotel rooms in Downtown. Opened January 2024, Signia by Hilton Atlanta features 976 guest rooms and will connects directly to Georgia World Congress Center. The convention center hotel will offer both attendees and meeting planners an elevated experience—from chef-driven restaurants to more than 100,000 square feet of event space.
