In the heart of the historic center of Palermo, a few steps from the city’s most important monuments, from the magnificent ancient palaces to the picturesque typical markets, the Hotel Ambasciatori offers its guests a stay in the splendid setting of an elegant building, symbol of Palermo’s Liberty Architecture. Perfectly set in this refined context, the light and spacious rooms, characterized by parquet floors, plain wooden furniture, are suitable for anyone arriving in our beautiful city to discover its art, but also for business travellers who do not wish to sacrifice comfort and good taste. The hotel is under family management together with professional staff, creating the right formula to guarantee a happy stay with high standards of quality. Standard rooms and deluxe rooms are available, all lovingly restored and furnished in classic style, according to a detailed design, which makes them truly unique, comfortable and elegant. There are double, triple and quadruple rooms, all extremely spacious, soundproofed, air-conditioned and with heating that can be adjusted at the client’s pleasure. Decorated with prestige wallpaper and fine carpets, the rooms are completed by classic wooden furniture. Hotel Ambasciatori's meeting room is ideal for organizing job's appointment, training or refresh courses and job's interview. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
