The History Colorado Center, one of Denver’s newest cultural attractions, is designed to ignite imaginations of all ages about Colorado history through high-tech and hands-on exhibits, programs for children and adults, and special events. Exhibits share the stories and the spirit of Colorado’s people over the past 10,000 years. Grand opening is Saturday, April 28, 2012.

Home of the Colorado Rockies, this 76-acre Coors Field stands at 20th and Blake streets in Denver's lower downtown/Ballpark Neighborhood. Fans sitting in the first-base and right-field areas are treated to a spectacular view of the Rocky Mountains.

The Lower Downtown Historic District (LoDo) was formed by an act of City Council in March 1988, with the intention of encouraging the preservation and vitality of an area that is significant because of its architectural, historical, and economic value. The historic status granted protection to the community's historic resources and to 127 contributing historic structures that remained (approximately 20% of Lower Downtown's buildings were demolished in the 1960's and 70's) by enactment of a zoning ordinance that includes building height limitations and encourages mixed-use development as well as providing strict design guidelines for rehabilitation and new construction. The B-7 zoned historic district is roughly bordered by Speer Boulevard, 20th Street, Wewatta Street, and the alley between Market and Larimer Streets.

The Downtown Aquarium mixes family fun, upscale casual dining and spectacular marine life in Denver. What makes the Union Station redevelopment so unique is its near extinct combination of form and function. In recent decades, cities across the country have watched as their beloved train stations were demolished and replaced—sometimes with more efficient, less aesthetic replacements, like New York City’s Pennsylvania Station, and sometimes with vacant lots, like Chicago’s Central Station. Some stations survived—like Tulsa’s Union Depot—but these architectural landmarks don’t see trains anymore.

Since 1890, Elitch Gardens has been America's only downtown theme and water park.
