British troops camped on Boston Common prior to the Revolution and left from here to face colonial resistance at Lexington and Concord in April, 1775. Many might know of Boston Common’s greatest attraction, the Frog Pond. Throughout the year, the Frog Pond transforms to reflect the season. In the summer months, young kids flock from all over to cool off from Boston’s grueling temperatures.
