Grand Hotel Wagner is located in Palermo, Italy. The interior of the hotel is ornately decorated with old paintings, carpets, rare marbles, columns, hand-made windows and a rare antique fireplace. For the well-being of the guests, there is a ‘Fitness & Wellness’ area situated one floor downstair the Hall, which is equipped with sauna, chromo-therapy, tapis roulant, cyclette and various massage and treatment rooms. On the fourth floor, there is a large terrace, an ideal place for an exclusive aperitif or after-dinner drink, and also the Verdi and Rossini Halls, equipped with the latest technology and available for meetings, conferences and congresses. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
