About us

The Oasis Hotel Don Bosco is located in a setting of pristine environments and the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. It lies along the road that joins Palazzolo Acreide in Syracuse, one of the most beautiful towns in the province of Syracuse. For each of the rooms at the Oasis Don Bosco was given the name of a plant typical of Sicily and, within the chamber is placed a large painting on wood, made by an artist of Syracuse. Oasis Hotel Don Bosco, a corner of paradise for your holiday in Syracuse, in its thousand-year history, in its natural oasis in its crystal clear sea and in the cities of art of the eastern Sicily. The conference room has a capacity of about 200 seats and is equipped with the latest communication technologies that enable their use for any type of conference.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
