Geniet van een ontspannen verblijf in het hart van de stad bij DoubleTree by Hilton York. Onze toplocatie kijkt uit op de historische stadsmuren en ligt op loopafstand van York Minster en andere beroemde bezienswaardigheden. Neem plaats in een van onze 143 kamers met airconditioning en alle moderne voorzieningen. We hebben 2.400 vierkante meter aan flexibele, ultramoderne evenementenruimte.

We waren hier de hele dag voor een werkconferentie.
Het hotel heeft een frisse, moderne uitstraling. Ik geloof dat Hilton onlangs het pand heeft overgenomen en ik vermoed dat het volledig is gerenoveerd.
Het personeel was erg vriendelijk bij aankomst en leidde ons naar de kamer in plaats van ons alleen maar in de goede richting te wijzen.
De kamer was ruim met grote ronde tafels en comfortabele stoelen. Elke tafel was gevuld met snoep, water en papier zoals je zou verwachten. Ze hielden de kamer op een aangename temperatuur ondanks het warme weer buiten.
Projector, scherm en geluid werkten allemaal goed.
Er was een pauzeruimte net buiten de kamer met thee en koffie en een patio waar het heerlijk was in de hete zomerzon.
Ze hadden ontbijtbutties beschikbaar voordat we begonnen.
Later aten we plakjes meloen.
De lunch werd geserveerd in een privégedeelte van het restaurant. Het hotel had een speciaal vegetarisch menu samengesteld voor het team en het waren allemaal goed doordachte, gezonde opties. Er was cheesecake of chocoladetaart en beide zagen er geweldig uit.
Later op de middag aten we bakjes ijs, wat echt een leuke bijkomstigheid was bij warm weer.
Veel van mijn collega's zijn ook overnacht.
Ik zou het hotel zeker aanbevelen voor een soortgelijk evenement. York is een prachtige stad met veel keuze voor avondactiviteiten en uitstekende vervoersverbindingen. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het station.

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
