Over ons

Villa Sobrano ligt op slechts drie kilometer van het oude centrum van Todi en is een pittoresk landhuis omgeven door wijngaarden en genesteld in de groene glooiende heuvels waar deze regio zo bekend om staat. De villa zelf is een complex van verschillende agrarische gebouwen die grenzen aan een centraal hoofdverblijf. De villa is gebouwd in de 19e eeuw en weerspiegelt een ontwerp dat veel wordt gebruikt door lokale landeigenaren voor hun landhuizen. Het is verdeeld in 4 tweepersoonskamers en 2 suites, elk met een eigen zitkamer. In Villa Sobrano staan een vergaderzaal en een congreszaal ter beschikking van onze gasten. Deze zalen kunnen worden gehuurd voor vergaderingen, congressen en seminars. Er is ook een privékapel voor het vieren van bruiloften.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
