Over ons

Gelegen in een park van 90.000 m2 (22 acres) en omgeven door twee natuurreservaten, vindt u in het Deltapark de ideale schuilplaats om nieuwe energie op te doen en de dagelijkse drukte achter u te laten. Het resortcomplex bestaat uit een hoofdgebouw met een centraal gelegen parkeerplaats, de overdekte parkeergarage aan de ene kant en het zogenaamde „Sporthaus” aan de andere kant. Drie driehoekig gevormde gebouwen direct aan het meer bevatten de „Deltaspa” en onze 19 „Waldhaus” gastenkamers.

Het 12e-eeuwse kasteel van Thun, gebouwd door de hertogen van Zähringen, kijkt met zijn vier torens uit over de stad en is het meest zichtbare kenmerk. Ontdek de onmiskenbare bezienswaardigheid van Thun. Na een bezoek aan de speciale tentoonstelling in het „Nieuwe Kasteel”, die zich richt op culturele, historische en hedendaagse thema's, verkent de rondleiding de kelder van het kasteel. Met zijn interactieve concept biedt het interessante informatie over de geschiedenis en ontwikkeling van Thun. De vijf grote zalen van de toren (kerker) op de bovenste verdiepingen herbergen waardevolle tentoonstellingen en prachtige voorwerpen met betrekking tot de geschiedenis en cultuur van het kasteel en de stad Thun tijdens de middeleeuwen. De kroon op het kasteel is de Ridderzaal — de best bewaarde ceremoniële zaal van de late middeleeuwen in Zwitserland. Wanneer u de torens bereikt, worden uw inspanningen om trappen te beklimmen rijkelijk beloond met adembenemende panoramische uitzichten over de Berner Alpen en de Thunersee.
