Het Regionaal Milieucentrum voor Midden- en Oost-Europa (REC) voert zijn missie uit via zijn themagebieden. Het REC houdt online een uitgebreide lijst bij van zijn huidige projecten. Het REC heeft de omgeving van de regio bestudeerd en zijn belanghebbenden gedurende meer dan 15 jaar begeleid. De ervaring en kennis van REC, opgedaan in samenwerking met zowel donoren als begunstigden, vormen zowel een aanwinst voor toekomstige werkzaamheden als een verantwoordelijkheid van alle betrokkenen. Het is gelegen in een prachtig arboretum niet ver van de Donau in Szentendre, Hongarije, vlakbij Boedapest. Het nieuwe conferentiecentrum is een ideale locatie voor conferenties of vergaderingen, met name als het gaat om milieubescherming, oplossingen voor duurzame ontwikkeling of maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen. Het heeft een capaciteit van maximaal 150 deelnemers.
