Over ons

In het hart van de Toscaanse Maremma, in de gemeente Sorano, rijk aan Etruskische en Romeinse geschiedenis, staat de Sorano Thermal Springs Residence, een gebouw ondergedompeld in een spectaculaire omgeving. Het bestaat uit 40 wooneenheden: 30 appartementen, waarvan er 4 de historische kern van de residentie vertegenwoordigen, en waarvan er 10 rond de parochiekerk en de warmwaterbron zijn gebouwd. Binnen kunnen vergaderingen, tentoonstellingen en evenementen worden georganiseerd in een elegante en artistieke omgeving.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
